Jolanta Durno is a published author & poet, who has
also been involved in
children’s theatre since 1990 (scripting, singing,
recording & performing).
She was involved in the staging of a production of “Sarafina
1”(Alex Township Care Centre, 1993), and was employed
to script & present for “Buya” (SABC,
1995).
Jolanta did her first public music performance in Greenmarket
Square, Cape Town.
She has since been involved in numerous folk-rock concerts,
including a support act for Mango Groove (Melville Mardi
Gras, Johannesburg, 1997), and “Conversations”
(New Melville Theatre, 2005). Jolanta has written &
recorded over 90 children’s songs, and has released
two music albums “Woodworks on the Move” &
a Celtic-folk-rock album “Everlasting Day”.
She is currently working as a Voice-Over Artist, and on
her new music album, “Naturally Sweet”.
